How to write a review of a playground (and why to do it).

Creating quality content is key to a successful funnel-building strategy. Crafting compelling, educational, and engaging pieces that demonstrate your authority establishes you as the go-to choice for potential clients along their buying journey. When you have great content you need a great lead list. Cole’s lead lists give you the real names, email addresses, and phone numbers of homeowners, putting you first in line to sell the entire neighborhood.

Content creation can be a powerful asset to your sales funnel, especially when coupled with Cole-powered leads. By creating a blog and packing it full of relevant keyword phrases and search terms, you increase the reach of prospects looking for valuable information in their local area. As an added bonus – this content will remain evergreen even as life changes over time. If implemented strategically alongside Cole’s lead lists, these organic pieces become invaluable angles for reaching more customers through personalized hyperlocal messaging that speaks directly to them at whatever stage they are currently in their lives.

Why review a playground?

Staying up-to-date on the playgrounds in your city or prospective neighborhood can be a great strategy to put yourself in front of homeowners.

This lead generator strategy allows you to share insights about the neighborhood with homeowners who may be searching for the perfect playground in their area. They can find your review on google reviews or on the blog on your website. Being top of mind with prospective sellers builds a relationship and establishes your credibility. They may not be ready to sell their home yet, but once you begin engaging with them by providing relevant information and nurturing the relationship, you are already at the forefront of their minds when they are ready to make a home-selling decision.

Be an expert on your city

An effective sales funnel strategy is made up of three basic stages: Awareness, Consideration, and Conversion. The most important part of crafting an effective sales funnel is knowing what problem your target has and then showing them how you can solve it. It’s important to create awareness before your prospects can identify what their problem is or that they have a problem, to begin with. Reaching them first and demonstrating your value and authority ensures you are their go-to problem solver.

Being involved in and a part of events and places in your city is a major part of your lead generation strategy. It’s important to establish authority and build credibility as a trusted source of information in the areas you want to sell. Whether you get involved with a local charity drive, sponsor a pet adoption event, or plant trees for an earth day celebration, being known as the agent who gives back to your community will establish your reputation as a vital participant in the communities you serve.

Create awareness

There are multiple ways to create awareness, we’ve written a few ideas in our downloadable PDF, How To Become An Expert On Your City. Creating awareness is about more than getting prospects into your funnel, the quality of the content you use to capture them in the funnel will dictate whether they continue their journey through the funnel and result in a sale or leave. Having a strategic plan about who you are targeting and with what content starts with having a good lead list. Cole’s lead lists can be curated to your particular search demographics and criteria, allowing you to have the most impact with the right homeowners.

How to write a review of a playground, step by step.

  1. Be strategic about the area you want to target for your playground review. Do your research and have a plan.
  2. Consider what is most important to the reader about the playground you are reviewing. If it’s in the heart of the city, is it within walking distance of shops and restaurants?
  3. Research parking, is there convenient parking nearby that will make it easier to load and unload for a playground playdate?
  4.  Is the equipment old and outdated? Is it the same equipment you used when you were a child? Or, is there new, state-of-the-art equipment that helps kids stay active, and healthy and develop their motor skills?
  5. Is the equipment safe?
  6. What age is the equipment appropriate for?
  7. If the playground has an area for small children; infants and toddlers, is it separated from the equipment for larger kids? Is it still within eyesight of the children of both ages for parents with multiple children?
  8. Does the playground include an area for sports equipment like basketball, or baseball?
  9. Are there picnic benches for a mid-play picnic? Are the benches within eyesight of the children’s play area?
  10. Are there restrooms AND does the park’s department maintain them?

Things to consider when reviewing a playground

When reviewing a playground it’s important to consider what is most important to those who will be reading your review and this could vary depending on the area of the city you are reviewing. A family who uses a playground in a major downtown area may not find it necessary for the playground to have private parking, especially if they live within walking distance, whereas a family in the suburbs may have to drive to their playground destination.

Writing a review of a playground is just one specific suggestion to help create awareness and deliver content that adds value to your prospects’ journey. Many more content ideas follow this same principle that may be more appropriate depending on the area you want to sell. Take what you’ve learned from this article and apply it to your prospect’s specific needs, the idea being that you are creating compelling and useful content that converts leads to sales.
